PAD Goes Green |Tree Plantation Drive

Let’s make a difference, one tree at a time.

As part of PAD’s initiatives in line with the Year of Sustainability and COP28, we are planning a Tree Plantation Drive in Pakistan and in the UAE. In collaboration with the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG), we aim to plant 1,000 trees in the UAE, while in Pakistan, Al Khidmat Foundation and PHA (Parks and Horticulture Authority) will facilitate us in planting 100,000 trees.

The Impact
Inspiring Others – Al Khidmat’s Smog-Free Lahore Campaign

In collaboration with the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), Al Khidmat Foundation initiated the Smog-Free Lahore campaign where 3,000 volunteers planted 15,000 saplings on a sprawling 7-acre plot of land.
Your donation will not only help combat climate change but also improve air quality, reduce soil erosion, and promote sustainable water cycles.

In the UAE, we aim to plant the Ghaf which is the country’s National Tree

1000 trees = AED 100,000 = 22 MTCO2 emissions mitigated
from the atmosphere annually

In Pakistan
1 tree = AED 4
100,000 trees = AED 400,000 = 2200 MTCO2 emissions mitigated
from the atmosphere annually

Total target to raise in 2023: AED 500,000
