Mariam Mumtaz has a background in media and communications and has worked in the local news industry for some time. She has recently completed her post-graduate degree in Global Governance and Sustainable Development. She discovered Pakistan Association Dubai while covering a story as a reporter in May 2016 and since then has been in awe of how the Pakistani community works collectively towards building a positive image of Pakistan in Dubai through its community and philanthropic initiatives. In 2017, she formally joined the organization heading the communications and eventually diving deep into brick-raising for the landmark project of Pakistan Centre & Pakistan Medical Centre.
She has played an instrumental role in producing annual magazines for PAD, bolstering the own a brick campaign, and is currently leading the MarComms department at PAD. Mariam is passionate about research and development, sustainable development, philanthropic projects, and believes that our work should always carry a purpose.
