Mariam Mumtaz has a background in media and communications and worked in the local news industry in Dubai for some time.

She is currently a producer and presenter for Emirates Loves Pakistan- a social media platform showcasing the best of UAE and Pakistan.

She is also a post-graduate in Global Governance and Sustainable Development. She discovered Pakistan Association Dubai while covering a story as a reporter in May 2016 and since then has been in awe of how the Pakistani community works collectively towards building a positive image of Pakistan in Dubai through its community and philanthropic initiatives. In 2017, she formally joined the organization driving raising bricks for the landmark project of Pakistan Centre & Pakistan Medical Centre.

She has played an instrumental role in producing annual magazines for PAD, bolstering the own a brick campaign, and is currently leading the MarComms department at PAD.
Mariam is passionate about storytelling, research and development, sustainable development, philanthropic projects, and believes that our work should always carry a purpose.
