Lahore Lahore Hai took centre stage at Pakistan Auditorium, Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) on 7th June 2026. Written by Asghar Wajahat and directed by Amad ul Hassan, this local production featured a talented cast who dedicated over three months to bringing the story to life. The event attracted more than 400 attendees and raised funds in support of Pakistan Medical Centre (PMC), the GCC’s first not-for-profit healthcare facility serving people of all nationalities.

Since its inception, PMC has treated more than 190,000 patients from over 126 nationalities and provided free healthcare services to more than 75% of its patients, ensuring access to quality care for those who need it most.

Set against the backdrop of post-Partition Lahore, Lahore Lahore Hai transported audiences to 1947, recreating the city's rich culture and human stories during one of the most significant periods in South Asian history. Through powerful performances and authentic storytelling, the production captured the emotions and enduring spirit of a city navigating profound change.

“Lahore Lahore Hai was a tribute to our shared history, culture, and resilience,” said Syed Taha Ali, Head of the PAD Cultural Committee. “We wanted to create an experience that connected audiences with the stories of the past while supporting a cause that continues to transform lives every day through Pakistan Medical Centre.”

The evening also featured a special performance by Asees Arshad who added to the cultural richness of the event and received a warm response from the audience.
