Meri Pehchaan Pakistan

In the spirit of Independence Day Celebrations, a colorful event for families and its members held on Friday 10th August 2018. Over 1000 people from all walks of life attended the event titled ‘ Meri Pehchaan Pakistan – Independence Day Celebrations’.

There were national songs, magic shows, and various other activities that caught the attention of the audience.

Consul General of Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Dubai Mr. Syed Javed Hassan was the chief guest of the event. He said “UAE has been a trusted ally and a significant development partner. On our seventy first anniversary we reaffirm our commitment to peace, security, stability and continued prosperity to the UAE and to the Pakistan UAE Friendship”.

Marking Pakistan’s seventy first celebrations Dr. Faisel Ikram, President of PAD said “We should not only celebrate the occasion of August 14 but must also understand the ideology of Pakistan. Our young generations should be aware of history of Pakistan and struggle for independence”.

First ever official production of the association “Merey Pyarey Watan To Har Dil Me He” a national song was launched in this colourful event as well.

The three hour long event was further enthralled by Muhammad Ali Shehki, a famous national singer from Pakistan who sang patriotic and national songs.

The entire arena of Pakistan Association Dubai was painted white and green with balloons and lights.
