Mariam Mumtaz has a background in media and communications and has worked in the local news industry for some time. She is currently pursuing her post-graduate degree in Global Governance and Sustainable Development. She discovered Pakistan Association Dubai while covering a story as a reporter in May 2016 and since then has been awe of how the Pakistani community is working towards building a positive image of Pakistan in Dubai. In 2017, she formally joined the organization heading the communications for the landmark project of Pakistan Centre & Pakistan Medical Centre. She has played an instrumental role in producing annual magazines for PAD, bolstering the own a brick campaign, and currently leading the MarComms department at PAD. Mariam is passionate about sustainable development, philanthropic projects, and believes that our work should always carry a purpose.
