National Day Ladies Gala 2019

Ladies Forum Pakistan Association Dubai, was set up with the goal of empowering the women living in UAE. With this goal in mind and after months of planning we were able to Alhamdulillah host another one of our successful events, the National Day Ladies Gala 2019.







The event was inaugurated with an exciting ribbon cutting ceremony by honourable Shiekha Farida Kamber Al Awadhi (Chairperson- Emirates Business Women Council). PAD’s executive committee’s beloved member Leila Aljassimi also joined us at the event. A group of adorable little young girls and boys, in Pakistani and Emirati ethnic outfits, promoting the theme RAISED IN FRIENDSHIP warmly welcomed them. They were then given a tour of the event. They enthusiastically visited each stall appreciating the stall owners and the beautiful decorations, Pakistan’s lovely culture and Ladies Forum’s devoted efforts for supporting women in every aspect.







This Gala was no ordinary gala with only fun, but was organised with a two fold mission.

One was to strengthen our relationship with this beautiful country by joining in the National Day celebrations. A corner of exhibition hall was decorated with unique pieces from Emirati and Pakistani culture.







The second was to help stabilise women by providing an opportunity for women entrepreneurs and skilled women to display their talents and market their brands. A lot of small home businesses and entrepreneurs participated in the gala. These included businesses selling apparels, hand made craft, hand weaved decoration, typical Pakistani truck art pieces and painting stalls. We also had the opportunity to host some very talented ladies who put up live calligraphy and henna designing corners. Apart from this books, jewellery, makeup, Prophetic Medicines were also available. There was fun and entertainment for all ages including kids. Games spot and variety of live cooking stalls added to the charm of the gala.





The main attraction of this event was the huge section of unused gift items tagged as CHERISHED GIFTS being sold at very low rates.
We are also thankful our talented ladies who contributed their handmade items under CREATED WITH LOVE section for community welfare.
