Junior Brick

On the occasion of Pakistan Independence Day, it will be a moment of pride for the Pakistani community when H.E. Sheikh Nayhan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, U.A.E‘s Minister of Tolerance launches the ‘Junior Brick’ campaign at Pakistan Association Dubai. Junior Brick is an extension of ‘own a brick’ campaign which encourages the involvement of community members towards the community project/centre. The Junior Brick initiative will include children from all nationalities across numerous schools in Dubai. A total of 15,000 bricks wiation stned and the contribution from them will go towards the pediatric services of the upcoming not for profit Pakistan Medical Centre. A Junior Wall (J WALL) in the medical centre would recognize their contribution.

Each junior brick owner will be given a junior membership of PAD giving each child a sense of ownership of the association. Pakistan Medical Centre is a component of Pakistan Centre, which once completed would be the world’s largest community centre for overseas Pakistanis. The whole idea behind this is to inculcate the spirit of giving in the younger generation and motivate them to serve the less fortunate ones. This would also make them socially responsible citizens in the long run.

A future investment in which we wholeheartedly believe in. Our initiative is part of the activity for Year of Zayed, we strongly adhere to the values and mission of the late Sheikh Zayed, who vision has blessed us with a harmonious United Arab Emirates in which over 200 nationalities reside peacefully. The Pakistan Centre project was launched on August 14th 2016.

On August 14, 2017 H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan laid the foundation stone of Pakistan Centre, of which thirty five percent construction is completed. The project will be inaugurated on August 14, 2019 InshaAllah.
