Monotony and Mathematics have a strong relationship in nature. The former authenticates reassurance while the latter substantiates balance. Flowers have a language of patterns. These patterns appear again and again in a certain order and proportion, which mirrors the truth relevant to all forms of life.
In a rapidly expanding art world, Mona Naqsh holds a key position, best known for her beautiful composi- tions of flowers. Mona creates artworks in classical settings in which the flowers seem to bloom and commu- nicate with the viewer.
Her source of inspiration was initiated by an appreciation of nature nurtured by an exquisite sequence of flower paintings executed, almost two decades ago, by her father, Jamil Naqsh, Pakistan’s eminent modern master. However over a period of time, Mona has evolved independently establishing herself as one of the most distinguished painters of her generation. Her work has travelled widely to considerable acclaim.
