Description
"After thirty years of painting, Mashkoor Raza is an established signature in figurative abstract, non-representational abstract and calligraphy. He began his career in the early 1980s, painting in the cubist style introduced by Picasso, slowly evolving into creating aesthetic transparent impressions through which his images adopt varying shapes.
Immaculate drawing and masterly strokes are the elements that stand out in all of his paintings. Whether creating abstract images of a woman and horse, varying shapes in squares, circles and triangles or calligraphy, his exceptional energies combined with passion and patience, bring forth work that is sensuous as well as spiritual, vibrant on the one hand and cool and harmonious on the other.
Mashkoor has participated in many national and international group and solo shows from Turkey, London, Germany, Canada and USA to the Far East, India and the Middle East."
