Pakistan’s legendary cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi has been an ardent supporter of the Own a Brick campaign for Pakistan Centre. He has endorsed the Health and Fitness centre pledging to raise 1000 bricks.On February 27 th 2019, Afridi along with other cricketing superstars will be at the premises of Pakistan Association Dubai to view the progress of the project and interact with people who have owned bricks and become a part of his team. The former captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team has led from the front and paired up with PAD in February 2017 to raise bricks for Pakistan Centre Entry to this event is strictly by owning a brick. Pakistan Centre is the world’s largest community centre for overseas Pakistanis and will have a not for profit Pakistan Medical Centre, a rehab/fitness facility,business incubation centre, seminar rooms, theme restaurant, sports café, amongst many other things. A Dh15 million project, it has been divided into 15000 bricks with each brick valued at Dh1000. A junior brick is valued at Dh100.
