Scientists are busy discovering difference sources of producing energy daily. To date the known sources of energy are fire, steam, wind, sunlight and speed scientifically known as velocity, and it is used in driving plants, machineries and it is distributed through wires, fiber optics and air waves.
When we discuss energy, we confine ourselves to the physical aspect of energy like, electricity, heat and air and known sources of its generation and storage. But we should know that the biggest source of generation of all types of power and storages of immense volume of ENERGY is a small box which each one of us carry on top of our neck and in the middle of the shoulders, known as brain.
This small box carries yet unknown power and energy and its potential are according to scientists are only very marginally used till to date. (I do not want to put a percentage because none is known).
Mind is one of the most fascinating wonders of Nature and the controlling source of all successes, failures, achievements and contribution to the world. Mind does not control the physical functions of one’s physical body on the top of which this small box resides, but its domain goes beyond ourselves and encompass our entire surroundings and even our time zone beyond it.
Philosophically speaking few minds are responsible for stablishing the course of history to last for centuries. Minds are the originators of Philosophy, Science, Religion, Cultures, Art along with simple Survival techniques to last our lifetime.
The product of mind is known as knowledge and collective knowledge creates history, Geography, philosophy, culture and civilization and the transmitter of divine design. This universe after being created is run on the energy provided by collective wisdom of its time. Nature has given this inexhaustible source of energy to the mankind to be used for his benefit as well the benefit of this universe.An individual uses his mind to create his resources to survive. The generation of the resources depends on his proper utilization of talent and to turn his energies to create a cozy, comfortable, peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.
Mind has the capacity to achieve anything depending how efficiently, effectively, confidently and innovatively you can use it. The strength to produce the desired results and achieve your goals and dreams is based on a force known Self-Confidence. It has been proved beyond any doubt that with required amount of self-confidence a person can achieve almost everything he desires to achieve.
Self-confidence is the force which is hidden in every individual but most of the time it is marred by self-doubt which is the real impediment for any results which can be produced by sheer self-Confidence. The role of self-confidence and Self-doubt is the same as accelerator and break in a car. Where accelerator is to give you speed and energy break cuts off the power and so the speed.
Every time we come across a situation where we find ourselves faced with an opportunity of unbelievable success and progress provided we invest the desired amount of effort, energy, courage and resources, but most of the time a common person based on his experience of past experiences or the opinions of our peers leave the opportunity and do not even try. These are daily occurrences, but we still know some people times or events which propelled us or some of our friends into a situation looking as difficult and even impossible but his/her or our self- confidence turned it into a goldmine of success.
MOST OF THE TIME THE GAME CHANGER IS YOUR SELF-CONFIDENCE WHICH CHANGES THE OUTCOME.
Let me tell you a very inspiring story which I read on one of the internet sites about self-confidence.
There was a business executive who was deep in debt and could see no way out. Creditors were closing in on him. Suppliers were demanding payment. He sat on the park bench, head in hands, wondering if anything could save his company from bankruptcy. Suddenly an old man appeared before him. “I can see that something is troubling you,” he said. After listening to the executive’s woes, the old man said, “I believe I can help you.” He asked the man his name, wrote out a check, and pushed it into his hand saying, “Take this money. Meet me here exactly one year from today, and you can pay me back at that time.” Then he turned and disappeared as quickly as he had come.
The business executive saw in his hand a check for $500,000, signed by John D. Rockefeller, then one of the richest men in the world! “I can erase my money worries in an instant!” he realized. But instead, the executive decided to put the uncashed check in his safe. Just knowing it was there might give him the strength to work out a way to save his business, he thought. With renewed optimism, he negotiated better deals and extended terms of payment. He closed several big sales. Within a few months, he was out of debt and making money once again.
Exactly one year later, he returned to the park with the uncashed check. At the agreed-upon time, the old man appeared. But just as the executive was about to hand back the check and share his success story, a nurse came running up and grabbed the old man. “I’m so glad I caught him!” she cried. “I hope he hasn’t been bothering you. He’s always escaping from the rest home and telling people he’s John D. Rockefeller.” And she led the old man away by the arm.
The astonished executive just stood there, stunned. All year long he’d been wheeling and dealing, buying and selling, convinced he had half a million dollars behind him. Suddenly, he realized that it wasn’t the money, real or imagined, that had turned his life around. It was his newfound self-confidence that gave him the power to achieve anything he went after.
