During the month of Ramadan, patience and strength is demonstrated. In United Arab Emirates, year 2019 has been celebrated as Year of Tolerance. As part of Year of Tolerance activities Pakistan Association Dubai organized PAD Hockey tournament. Each team was allowed to have 6 six players. In this tournament UTSC-Oman and Abu Dhabi participated alongwith 8 teams from Dubai & Sharjah. The tournament started from 2nd week of Ramadan where the teams were divided into two poles. UTSC-Oman, Sohail Travels & Sharjah Tigers & Ravi qualified for semi finals.
The final was played after Eid on 7th June at PAD sports arena. The chief guest was President of Pakistan Association Dubai Mr. Dr. Faisal Ikram.
Ravi Hockey Team won the final by beating Sharjah Tigers 3-0. Dr. Faisal & Mr. Zahid Hasan distributed the Trophy and medals among the wining team.
Dr. Faisal appreciated all the teams and was happy to see the participation of players from other countries like India, Sri Lanka and Europe that reflects on the year of tolerance in UAE.
Director Sports PAD Abu Bakr Imtiaz, thanked all the teams and paid tribute to the winning teams.
